Hey, it’s me.
I haven’t paid much attention to this newsletter unfortunately and that’s really because I’ve been heads down working on these projects I’ve talked about for months now. If you don’t remember, they are:
→ The Mint Fund, the artist led community dedicated to uplifting, supporting, and creating the next generation of global talent minting NFTs. Our focus has been serving Black, Indigenous, and other communities of culture and we don’t intend to change that any time soon. We had the opportunity to select one of our artists, Ikaro Cavalcante from Brazil into a Sotheby’s show called Natively Digital, we supported HerStory DAO by covering their artists mint fees, and onboarding a new artist for their Digital Diaspora show in NYC last month. For the next season, we have larger ambitious goals and experiments leveraging our treasury to support artists in a multitude of ways.
→ The Well is an ecosystem designed to immortalize, support, and create culture on-chain. As part of the KERNEL Cohort 3 of Gitcoin, we spent the last 8 weeks refining our mission, our product, and our strategy to impact the NFT space for those currently within it, and for those outside of it. We’ve built key relationships and partnerships with black institutions and creatives, and we are eager to launch and develop a system of support via investment from VCs who are aligned with our mission. The Well will make an announcement next week.
Tap into culture in progress.
→ $HEATCHECK is one of my earliest experiments with social tokens, visibility, cultural relevance and more. While $HEAT has not been widely distributed or deployed yet, $HEAT has been reworked to amplify the mission of The Well. In fact, it is the cultural currency that powers it and hopefully culture itself. Along with the announcement for The Well, $HEAT will be making waves in a very big way.
→ Sirsu, the moniker that creates mixed media art experiences both as a traditional and digital work. I’ve minted about 40 unique works as 1/1s and multiples through Zora, Foundation, KnownOrigin, OpenSea and Rarible. Behind the scenes, I’ve written my own unique smart contract identifier (sirsu.sol) to be deployed on a webapp dubbed “SIRSU.SPACE.” It’s a current work-in-progress, but here’s a teaser. For anyone who might be interested in helping me get this out faster, hit me up on twitter @sirsuhayb. I love collaborations and I can’t do all this by myself.
→ BLVKHVND is an esports group started by myself and three of my friends (BLVK0UT / ROLVEL / MVGIC). We’ve recently experimented with becoming a more crypto-native esports team bridging the gap between streaming, content creation, competitive play, and community building through web3 tech. We are working to capture interest to build with Parallel TCG and Axie Infinity—we see ourselves squarely in the position to bring these games to North America in a big way.
Other update of note:
→ Memory Token Project, or “how do I attribute my friends with the memories we’ve created together as NFTs that could be sold to onboard them into the cryptosphere?”

Long story short, you might be wondering, “how the in the fuck is he juggling all of this?”
The better question is really, “how can the community support these projects?” The best thing anyone can do is one of four things (organized by order of magnitude):
Back my projects directly.
For the SirsuSpace, you can consider donating to a split contract on Mirror. This unique split contract send 80% of the donation towards the SirsuSpace project and 20% to The Mint Fund. Every single project I work on, a portion of the proceeds will always go toward the fund so that new artists can reap the benefit of starting in this space with support.
For the Mint Fund, you can contribute to our treasury here.
For The Well, we are looking for investors and will be holding both a crowdfund and collector tier subscriptions. For more information, hit me up on twitter @sirsuhayb.
For $HEATCHECK, we will be hosting a crowdfund with HEAT NFTS. More to be revealed soon.
For BLVKHVND, you can join our Discord, and support our Twitch Streams. We will be releasing details on how to support the organization and aid in our team structure moving forward next week.
Buy my NFTS. You can visit SIRSU → Cryptomedia for all the links to my current NFTs for sale and secondary sale. Buying my NFTs gives me investment capital I can use to self-fund my projects if you are not interested in either donating or investing directly.
Subscribing to this newsletter. Believe it or not, subscribing gives me the ability to share more of what I’m doing and the direct support does add up in helping me pay for the incidentals of development costs: hosting, server fees, email, domains, etc.
Outside of financial support, like and sharing my content helps to bring broader visibility of my work to others who can provide direct financial impact. To do so, give me a follow on twitter @sirsuhayb, read my Mirror posts, and RT anything NFT related with the #HEATCHECKME tag.
Until next time,
Sirsu.
